The distinctive logos revealed in newsagents and supermarkets across the UK with the launch of The National Lottery 20 years ago were down to Alpen’s manufacturing and installation expertise.

Camelot successfully won the first licence to operate the National Lottery weekly draw – and it was Alpen who prevailed in working closely with their consultants, to produce an impressive range of signage promoting all the Lottery outlets.

In total Alpen delivered more than 32,000 signs for Camelot, including 2,500 illuminated, projecting signs, successfully installed within a tight, 12-week schedule.

“This was the biggest brand launch in decades. We fitted several thousand Lottery signs in the initial phase of what was a major project and one we have been very proud of.”
